Altitude32, Altitude16 & AltitudeCI

Trinnov’s Altitude range is the undisputed reference standard for immersive home cinema processing. Decoding Dolby Atmos natively up to 34 discrete channels, DTS:X Pro up to 30.2 channels, Auro-3D, and IMAX Enhanced, the Altitude processors offer a level of format support and configurability that no other manufacturer matches. The defining advantage of all Altitude models is Trinnov’s patented 3D Remapping technology — which intelligently compensates for real-world speaker placement constraints, ensuring perfect spatial accuracy regardless of room geometry. Eight HDMI 2.1 inputs with HDCP 2.3, 4K/120Hz and 8K/60Hz video pass-through, and 64-bit floating-point audio processing with 115dB SNR are shared across the range.

Altitude32 — The flagship. Up to 36 discrete channels of processing (expandable in 8-channel increments), 12 subwoofer channels, up to 192kHz on 24 channels, and WaveForming advanced room correction. Winner of the EISA Award for Best High-End Home Theatre, AVSForum Best AV Processor, and multiple CEDIA Awards. The Altitude32 is the processor against which every other home cinema processor is measured.

Altitude16 — The same processing platform, sound quality, and Optimizer calibration as the Altitude32, configured for up to 20 discrete channels in a 3U chassis. Ideal for Dolby Atmos 9.1.6 and 7.1.6 installations where the full 32-channel capacity of the flagship is not required.

AltitudeCI — A compact 2RU custom integration variant with native Dante and AES67 network audio support, scalable from 8 to 32 channels. Designed for complex multi-room and professionally-integrated installations where networked audio distribution is required.

Power Amplifiers

Amplitude16 & Amplitude8

Trinnov’s Amplitude amplifiers are designed as the ideal partner for Altitude processors, sharing the same DAC architecture and signal chain to maintain complete transparency from digital source to loudspeaker. The Amplitude16 houses two independent 8-channel Class D amplifier modules in a 2RU chassis, each with its own dedicated power supply — delivering 200W per channel into 8 ohms (bridgeable to 800W) with a measured THD+N of just 0.0015% and a damping factor of 2,340 at 100Hz.

Amplitude16 — 16-channel, 200W/ch (8Ω), 400W/ch (4Ω), bridgeable to 800W/ch. Optional Dante audio-over-IP board for fully networked installations. With a signal-to-noise ratio of 126dB A-weighted, the Amplitude16 is among the most technically capable multichannel amplifiers available.

Amplitude8 — An 8-channel variant sharing the same ICEpower-based amplification modules, for installations where a full 16-channel amplifier is not required. Both models integrate seamlessly with Altitude processors via balanced XLR/DB25 connections.

Amethyst

Reference Stereo Preamplifier & Room Correction Processor

The Trinnov Amethyst brings the full power of Trinnov’s Optimizer room correction technology to two-channel hi-fi, in a single chassis that combines a reference-grade stereo preamplifier, 24-bit/192kHz DAC, phono stage, network streamer (Roon Ready), and intelligent active crossover engine. For high-end stereo systems where room acoustics are limiting the performance of exceptional loudspeakers, the Amethyst delivers a transformation that passive acoustic treatment alone cannot achieve.

The Amethyst accepts 12 inputs — 4 balanced XLR, 4 unbalanced RCA, 4 digital (optical/coaxial/AES) and phono — processed at 64-bit floating-point with lossless digital volume control. The Optimizer calibration system creates up to 29 custom correction presets, each derived from a three-dimensional acoustic measurement using Trinnov’s proprietary 3D microphone. The result is a preamplifier that makes your room disappear.
