Hand-built in rural Teesdale in the north of England, Neat has spent decades earning a devoted following for loudspeakers that are compact, beautifully made and, above all, deeply musical. Most of Neat’s drive units and crossover parts are custom-made to the company’s own specification, and every model is voiced by ear in Neat’s own recording studio — the music, not the measurement, has the final say.

Every Neat is hand-built in Teesdale and engineered to deliver full-range, room-filling music from remarkably compact cabinets, using mostly custom drive units, rigid enclosures and Neat’s signature isobaric bass loading. The current line-up spans five families:
Iota — the range that made Neat famous for defying its size. The tiny Iota II standmount and the compact Iota Alpha II floorstander — just 45cm tall, with a downward-firing sub-bass driver — deliver a big sound from a genuinely small footprint.
Classic — traditionally veneered designs with Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeters, from the Petite Classic standmount up through the Mystique Classic and Elite Classic floorstanders.
Strata — true-ribbon tweeters paired with isobaric bass loading: the close-to-wall Ministra, the larger Majistra standmount, and the slim Ekstra and Orkestra floorstanders with their integral isobaric sub-bass.
Momentum Jet — the flagship Ultimatum design reimagined with a custom AMT (Jet) tweeter and isobaric bass, in the Momentum JS standmount and Momentum J6 floorstander.
Ultimatum — the reference flagship line (XLS, XL6 and the nine-driver XL10 tower): ultra-rigid birch-plywood enclosures, isobaric bass and a dome tweeter flanked by twin upward-firing EMIT super-tweeters.
